Golden Tulip Mangosteen Resort & Spa Share
The Golden Tulip Mangosteen Boutique Resort offering spectacular ocean views over 4 bays and many surrounding Islands because it is located in the South of Phuket on a private hillside. A free shuttle service is offered to make the short trip to Nai Harn Beach, located in a pristine National Park. The location is ideal for travelers looking for peace and tranquility but is still not too far from the more busy beaches (Kata Beach 10-15 minutes). Nearby attractions: Big Buddha of Phuket, Chalong Temple, Promthep Cape Sunset Viewpoint, Chalong Seafood Restaurants, Rawai Beach.
41 beautifully appointed villa style rooms ensure privacy and tranquility. The Villas are designed as a “home away from home" by Interior Designer John Underwood to ensure guests have a most enjoyable stay.
Surrounded by tropical gardens, each Villa feels like a piece of private paradise. Private Villa gardens with Jacuzzi tub and outside showers. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea and Phuket Island. All units are generous in space and have large terraces or balconies.
The centre of the resort consists of the 680sqm free form pool with 14 water falls and inbuild jacuzzis. The extra-large pool with its beautiful sea views is treated without chemicals and open 24 hours. The Mangosteen Restaurant with its well-tempered underground Wine Cellar, serves a fine blend of Asian and Western cuisine, using mostly organic ingredients grown in small organic local farms.
At night time, Rawai Beach and Nai Harn, only 5 minutes away from the resort, have now lively areas with a multitude of local and international restaurants and bars in every price category. Different from other tourism hotspots on the island, here in the South, locals, expats and tourists mingle in a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

1. All rates and taxes are quoted in local currency Thai Baht (THB).
2. Rates are inclusive of daily breakfast for 2 persons.
3. Extra bed for the third person (above 12 years old) is Thai Baht 1,500 net per person per
night including breakfast.
4. Three nights minimum stay applied during period of 20 Dec 2012 – 10 Jan 2013.
5. Family and child policy:
* Maximum of 2 children under 12 years stay free using existing bedding when accompanied
by an adult.
* Children below the age of 2 years receive a complimentary breakfast buffet.
* Children below12 years old receive a 50% discount on contracted meal rates.
6. Maximum occupancy in room :
* Superior Garden = 2 Adults or 2 Adults + 1 Child below 12, existing bedding
* Superior Jacuzzi = 2 Adults or 2 Adults + 1 Child below 12, existing bedding
* Deluxe Jacuzzi = 3 Adults or 2 Adults + 2 children, 2nd child below 12, existing bedding
* Royal Jacuzzi = 3 Adults or 2 Adults + 2 children, 2nd child below 12, existing bedding.
7. Meal Plan :
* Breakfast (Buffet) : 650 B per adult and 50% for Child below 12 years.
* Lunch 3 (courses set) : 750 B per adult and 50% for Child below 12 years.
* Dinner 3 (courses set) : 950 B per adult and 50% for Child below 12 years.
8. Compulsory New Year’s Dinner 31st Dec 12 :
* 4,000 B per adult and 50% for Child below 12 years.
9. Transfers :
* To/From Phuket Airport – Resort (maximum 2 persons) : 1,300 B per one way and 2,400 per Round Trip.
* To/From Phuket Airport – Resort by van (3-7 persons) : 1,500 B per one way and 2,800 per Round Trip.
10. Arrival/ Departure :
* Check-in time is 14.00 hrs and check-out time is at 12 noon.
* Day charge, early check in (before 14.00 hrs), late check out (up to 18.00 hrs) are
subject to a charge of 50% of existing contract rate and subject to room/villa availability.
* Full rate will be charged for checkouts after 18.00 hrs and it will be considered as
an extra night.
* Early departure during period of 1 Nov 2012 – 19 Dec 2012 or 1 Feb 2013 – 31 Oct 2013,
if notice receives on the day of departure, one night charge will be applied. If notice
receives a day or longer in advance, no additional charge.
* Early departure during period of 20 Dec 2012 – 31 Jan 2013, the full length of stay of the
total number of rooms reserved charge will be applied.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

All cancellation or amendment must be made in written notice or email to us with our acknowledgement within
* Cancellation less than 20 days prior to check in time during period of 1 Nov 2012 – 19 Dec 2012 or 1 Feb 2013 – 30 Apr 2013, one (1) night room charge will be applied per room cancelled.
* Cancellation less than 37 days prior to check in date during period of 20 Dec2012 – 31 Jan 2013, the full length of stay of the total number of rooms reserved charge will be applied per room cancelled.
* Cancellation less than 7 prior to check in time during period of 1 May 2013- 31 Oct 2013, one (1) night room charge will be applied per room cancelled. - If you wish to cancel your booking before the cancellation due date, we apply a cancellation fee at 7% of total amount (if 7% is less than 1000 THB, we reserved the right to charge up to 1000 THB).
- For any “Cancellation / Amendment”, 3.5% service fee of payment through credit card is non-refundable in all cases.
- No refund for “Early Check Out” & “No Show” (failure to arrive).
